Makerspace technology provides a way of reducing the overall cost of teaching materials. Here, we focus on mathematics manipulatives as the case, but the lessons learned here can easily extend to other content areas. Our focus is primarily on using 3D printers and Cricuts due to their commonality and affordability. However, other devices may be used and some may not even be on the market yet! Below are tutorials and overviews for becoming familiar with the devices and using them for general purposes.
