Overview
Decimal Rods are a concrete manipulative that illustrates labeled decimal values relative to the whole (1). to aid in classroom management, and show the relationship between tenths and hundredths, the hundredths are on a single rod with each .01 able to swivel to display or not. This allows for a direct modeling of the hundredths in relation to tenths and the whole
These come in two versions: two-color & single-color (see images above). For the two-color version, a multi-color printer is needed. .
