Overview

Rod hinges allow you to connect number rods and Cuisenaire rods into geometric shapes. The openings on each hinge are just large enough for a 1cm x 1cm rod to fit snugly and be able to be removed. Note: If you 3D printed your rods and they don’t fit well, you may have to re-level your bed (i.e., the rods are larger than they’re supposed to be).

MakerSpace Files

3D printer version of the files are downloadable here.
Each set of 12 rod hinges consumes 25.96 grams of filament, takes 1 hr 34minutes to print and costs $0.47 (if filament is $18/Kg).
